My career began designing for corporate and institutional clientes—from mining to retail. That world shaped my foundation as a technical and strategic designer: precise, structured, and rational. Over time, I realized my practice was also deeply sensitive. I discovered that what truly moved me was creating beauty, crafting visual experiences, and telling stories that make people feel something. That insight reshaped the way I work.
Today, my practice is guided by curiosity, conversation, research and shared observation.
Through a curiosity-driven, co-creative process, I bring together different perspectives into experiences that feel authentic and resonate in both form and meaning. It is a space at once strategic and sensitive, where my analytical, rational side meets a more contemplative, intuitive gaze. This duality shapes my practice, allowing me to connect deeply with projects and people.
I have collaborated on projects in Mexico, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and Chile, and I am currently open to collaborations with design studios, organizations, and individuals who value thoughtful, purposeful design.

Soy María José. Soy una diseñadora gráfica especializada en identidad de marcas y narrativa visual, con base en Santiago de Chile.
Mi trayectoria comenzó diseñando para empresas e instituciones corporativas, desde retail hasta minería. Ese mundo forjó mi base como diseñadora técnica, estratégica, riguroso, ordenada (y algo más, racional?). Con el tiempo descubrí que mi práctica era más sensible, me di cuenta que me gustaba embellecer cosas, crear experiencias visuales, escribir y narrar visualmente para hacer sentir algo en las personas. Reformulé mi manera de hacer las cosas.
Hoy mi práctica está guiada por la curiosidad, la conversación, la investigación y observación compartida.
